Sea Green Bud Vase

Handcrafted stoneware bud vase. This bud vase has been dipped several times in white and celadon glazes. Where the glazes overlap you will see the most beautiful foam on the green sea effect. Perfect to display your garden blooms. 

How is it made?

Each bud vase starts off life as two individual pinch pots which are moulded and shaped together. An opening is then cut and smoothed at the top. After bisque firing the vase is clear glazed inside and dip glazed in white a celadon tones on the outside. 

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

This item is made to order so the piece will take 3-4 weeks to be made from scratch. However I keep a small selection of stock ready to post within 3 days of your order, so if you need your item sooner message me and I will let you know if I have it in stock.

Sustainability

Sustainability is important to me and while very few products and processes of making can be viewed as fully sustainable, few materials around are as durable and eco-friendly as ceramics. If well cared for my pieces can last you a lifetime. Heat in our kilns is well managed and distributed and due to working in a shared studio space our kilns are always fully loaded; making the most of each firing. I do not use toxic materials and all of my glazes are lead free. I also produce very little waste and reclaim all clay off cuts. My packaging is either plastic free or reused materials.
