Celadon Green Mindfulness Gift Bowl with Smudge Stick
Handcrafted stoneware bowl. Each bowl is hand moulded giving an organic, unique form. A single leaf is imprinted into the centre and left unglazed creating a textured finish. The bowls are dip glazed in celadon green giving an array of tones through jade, light and dark greens, browns and turquoise with a crackle finish.
Enclosed in each gift wrapped order is a homemade smudge stick made from garden herbs; sage to cleanse and boost mood, lavender to calm, rosemary to soothe and bring peace.

How is it made?
Each bowl is hand-carved and shaped. I form the bowls over handmade moulds making each bowl uniform in diameter but unique and individual in appearance. A foraged leaf is imprinted into the centre, the piece is then bisque fired. I use a wax resist over the leaf imprint before dipping into a celadon glaze and firing again.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
This item is made to order so the piece will take 3-4 weeks to be made from scratch. However I keep a small selection of stock ready to post within 3 days of your order, so if you need your item sooner message me and I will let you know if I have it in stock.

Sustainability
Sustainability is important to me and while very few products and processes of making can be viewed as fully sustainable, few materials around are as durable and eco-friendly as ceramics. If well cared for my pieces can last you a lifetime. Heat in our kilns is well managed and distributed and due to working in a shared studio space our kilns are always fully loaded; making the most of each firing. I do not use toxic materials and all of my glazes are lead free. I also produce very little waste and reclaim all clay off cuts. My packaging is either plastic free or reused materials.

Important information
This bowl is technically dishwasher safe however I would suggest washing by hand to prevent any damage.
Lead free glaze, due to the crackle effect celadon glaze is not food safe.
